Born in Huntersville, NC, Marshall O. Lowery is a freelance writer who started writing during his tour in Vietnam. For Marshall, writing was not only a way to express his deepest emotions but a way to map out his dreams as well. Coming from a tight-knit family, writing also became a way to stay in contact with family while abroad. Lowery lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. His debut book "If You Wanna Help the Poor... Then Don't Be One of Them" was released to high praise and Marshall is currently working on a follow up.
